I knew as a player growing up that my life and career would be based around the game of soccer,
training, and mentoring athletes because I was blessed with parents who sacrificed for me to have
the best coaches, in the best programs growing up. As a kid I traveled from Endicott NY to Syracuse
3 to 4 times a week since the age of 7 to play club soccer. After my freshman year my mom and dad sacrificed
for me to be able to go to prep school in Charlotte, NC and attended Charlotte Catholic while also playing for what was a top club in the country at the time Charlotte Park Sharon. I decided my senior year to come back to NY to be closer to my parents and from their decided to attend Herkimer CC and play for Pepe Aragon, who to this day has had the biggest impact on me, my style of training and philosophy of the game. After HCCC I attended and played for D1 University at Buffalo. Always as a player I was known as being " a coach on the field' learning to see and read the game at an advanced level. I knew then I wanted to help impact, mentor and improve players to help them fulfill their dreams. My training career started in Ocean City, MD where I had many athletes from a large variety of sports training them in speed, agility and strength. I left Maryland and worked on my Sports Psychology Masters at the University of Tennessee. After that I was training back in the upstate NY area before meeting my wife and opening AthELITE Performance Training's first studio in 2013. I am blessed to have found not only a wife and business partner, but someone that is supportive of the hours it has taken us to build APT together. We started putting a staff beginning with Colby Thomas who not only is a fantastic trainer but a trustworthy business partner. From here we are planning future moves to grow, so that we can have an impact and help people and athletes of all ages and sports accomplish their life's goals.
" My training philosophy is a mixture of so many things I have learned from mentors I have been blessed to have, I train for results. Specific results that the individual needs because, everyone is different, and the path to them learning is different for each client. I base my number one principle off of building relationships with my clients that are fundamentally based on trust, commitment, work ethic, positive muscle memory, and proper mechanics in everything we do". If we have all of those, the outcome is the RESULT we are looking to get. "
